Captain Mike is a full time year, round fisherman who loves his profession. Whether its taking a family out for their first fishing trip or 6 seasoned fishermen to the Continental Shelf for overnight Tuna. He truly enjoys sharing his excitement of being on the water and the pursuit of trophy fish.

Nick has been fishing Long Island Sound for over sixty years. In his youth he fished on the several boats his father had on the Western Long Island Sound for Bluefish, Mackerel, Flounder, Porgy’s and Striped Bass.  Later in life, he moved to the Eastern part of the state and again began fishing the local reefs for the same species.

For the last few seasons Nick has been assisting on charters by working with clients providing fishing instruction, encouragement and entertainment.

With 60 years on the Long Island Sound and having owned 6 boats, Nick is our resident “Old Salt’ .

Returning for her 10th season as a part-time mate for Bluefin Charters, “T” has worked her way up to becoming one of the veteran crew members.  Growing up in Clinton, CT.,  she has always been around the water, but, it was not until she met Captain Mike 10 years ago that she avidly got into fishing.  She’s been hooked ever since.  Don’t let her looks or charm fool you, this girl has decked over 15 Giant Bluefin in her fishing career.  She knows the ins and outs of inshore fishing and has the expertise to assist clients with anything they may throw at her. When not in the cockpit you will find Tara hard at work behind her desk at the Yale Medical School in the accounting department.
